Neo-Page, homepage layout supporting system
Neo-page is a recommendation system supporting the editorial work of determining the page layout and the article insertion/order on the newsroom’s homepages (or section homepages). It is a very effective solution to monitor in real-time the popularity of articles published in homepage and to maximize:
- the total number of article read
- the stickiness of readers to the site

The enriched web interface shows an augmented version of the journal’s home page, in which data on the performance and recommendations are shown near every link.
According to both the performance’s history of every single publishing zone in homepage and the clicks received by every article’s link, Neo-page provides recommendations supporting the editor in the homepage layout and article choice decision:
- which links to keep in homepage
- which links to remove from homepage
- how to re-order the homepage moving links from one position to another
