B.C. 600,000 - Pithecanthropus evolves

B.C. 200,000 - Possible Homo Sapiens; use of fire

B.C. 95,000 - Homo Sapiens definitely evolved; burial of dead

B.C. 40,000 - Modern man appears

B.C. 30,000 - Earliest art

B.C. 9,000 - Beginnings of animal husbandry, probably also of agriculture
