Getting Down to the Gateway of the Sun

Currently there is some arguement over some of the glyphs on the Gateway of the Sun, found in modern day Bolivia. What have long been considered parrots (not shown), have been called elephants by others. This is only significant because elephants became extinct in South America around 10,000 BC.
