Yoruba Flood Myth

A god, Ifa, tired of living on earth and went to dwell in the firmament. Without his assistance, mankind couldn't interpret the desires of the gods, and one god, in a fit of rage, destroyed nearly everybody in a great flood. [Kelsen, in Dundes]
